VERO BEACH, Fla., April 27, 2018 — Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition and Riverside Theatre have partnered to host Dancing with Vero’s Stars, now in its 10th year, on May 13, 2018, at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach. Event proceeds will provide funding for Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition and Riverside Theatre’s programs and services. To support their efforts, Katwalk Boutique has sponsored dancer Dr. Giuliana Diaz Jones — a local prosthodontist from Vero Implant and Esthetic Dentistry — and her dance instructor Joe Tessier from Swingsation’s 14th Ave. Dance Studio (Team Giuliana).
Katwalk Boutique began raising money to support Team Giuliana on March 11, 2018, through its weekly Sip and Shop Sundays fundraising campaign. Each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the boutique provides guests with complimentary champagne as they shop. Katwalk Boutique then collects 20 percent of Sip and Shop sales for Team Giuliana. Sip and Shop Sundays will run through May 6, 2018.
“Each dollar Katwalk raises will equal one vote for Team Giuliana, and the votes count for 50 percent of each team’s overall score,” said Katwalk Boutique owner Christine Walker. “Through Sip and Shop Sundays, Katwalk shoppers have a real opportunity to not only position Team Giuliana for a win but also make an impact for a very worthy cause.”
